A great bit of the appeal of some weapon skins is their rarity and value, rather than their actual appearance. They're certainly some of the best looking skins in the game, however as they have no trade value of any kind, I'm not interested in using them. Yes, that view is slightly lame, however that's how I feel and I'm sure I'm not alone.

I did the missions 25-30 times to obtain the weapons I wanted on the characters that needed them...and now, there really isn't much more I need. I like items for their skin usually, not their rarity and value, though that is a plus point. I don't go out of my way to buy expensive weapons...if one drops for me, I'll often keep it, otherwise the BMP weapons are great. The missions are only worth doing as long as you want weapons however...when you have all the weapons you want, there seems to be no need to continue to complete them.

I have the BMP and although I love some skins, I don't have them, since they are customized and take up way to much space for me.

If only all your chars on your account could share em, then I'd be more inclined to actually go for lots off em, esp. the tengu and mursaat item (those are really gorgeous almost to unbelievable to be true).

Never really cared about the weapons tbh. I recently finished all stories + bonus... so I'm pretty much done with the BMP. Pity I can't sell it

I still love 'em. Anything nice that drops goes straight on a mule, for eventual trade, if I can ever be bothered. I'm using BMP weapons almost exclusively now.

I like that I can pick a style and mod it the same way across my toons, for easy recognition. i.e. Mursaat=Zealous, Tengu=Sundering, Undead=Vampiric, Charr=Furious.

If I had one wish, it would be that the NPC's were present at the Great Temple of Balthazar, so PvP toons could get them too.

Quoted for truth. Why not put it into a central place that everyone can access?

It would also have saved space, as if we would need the 5 guys taking up space in every capital city.

This is a nice way to SHOW that there is a BMP. To rub it into the nose of those who wanted but could not buy it. And to sell it later over the store, I have no doubt that they will do it.

Sarcasm, hehe...

Meh I don't really get what the big deal was about it. I played the BMP the first day it came out and haven't touched it since. The weapons weren't as great as people make them sound.

I've got a few guildies that gone nuts on the missions and theme equiped all of their heroes. I kind of think it's a really neat clean look to have everyone with matching items.

Having matching rec 9 items on heroes is a really nice way to go. I haven't done it since I don't have the space to keep my old stuff around.

I would of been upset if I actually paid something to get the BMP.. I got it without realizing it when I bought prophecies online. I haven't even bothered to play 2 of the missions the first 2 bored me to death.

I got BMP, tried it, and didn't really care for it. I did keep some of the weapons. I guess you can't 'get over' something you were never really into.

The ones I like the most are the undead weapons, I cannot get enough of them.

Speaking from my point of view, I'm trying to get fow armor for the rest of my characters, and the bmp weapons provided a nice max skinned weapons to supply my hungry warrior and dervish for nice looking weapons. My warrior drains my gold wanting all the shiny skins and the swords and axes of the bmp calmed that down a bit so I can save more money for armors.

So to make it short, I love those weapons and glad that they are here.

Also to add, I went with a theme.
Undead swords and axes are vampiric, charr stuff is charr slaying and so on, makes it more interesting hunting down those mods and actually changing skins depending on the area.
